Esta decisión es en función a los resultados de los avances en los trabajos de investigación, conservación y la culminación del reemplazo del sistema de drenaje de aguas de lluvia en el sector sur del monumento.
Así también, con las labores de mantenimiento permanente y las acciones bajo convenios interinstitucionales que se están ejecutando.
Por ello, a partir de la fecha, la capacidad de admisión se ha incrementado de 144 a 252 personas por día, distribuidas en grupos de 12 visitantes en 21 horarios a elegir. Esto representa un aumento del 75 %, lo que generará un impacto favorable en la actividad turística de Amazonas.
Del mismo modo, a partir de la fecha se ha ampliado el circuito dentro de la llaqta, de tal manera que los visitantes disfrutarán de un nuevo recorrido por más de una hora (80 minutos), donde podrán apreciar la majestuosidad del más importante legado la nación Chachapoya, muestra de la sabiduría y la habilidad de sus hombres y mujeres
El avance en las labores de conservación es un gran esfuerzo que viene realizando el Ministerio de Cultura, que ha priorizado su intervención en el recinto con especialistas y personal operario de las comunidades adyacentes.
Esto permitirá que los visitantes tengan la oportunidad de observar el trabajo que los investigadores ejecutan en distintos sectores del monumento e inclusive ingresar a una de las estructuras circulares recuperadas.

BOLETOS PARA KUÉLAP
Cabe destacar que, los boletos se pueden adquirir en la plataforma https://tuboleto.cultura.pe/
Si el visitante desea ingresar al interior del monumento principal (llaqta o fortaleza) debe adquirir con anticipación el boleto CAMK + llaqta. Se recuerda que la cantidad de boletos de este tipo es limitada debido a condiciones de seguridad y conservación.
El costo de las entradas para extranjeros es de S/30, para visitantes nacionales y de la Comunidad Andina S/20 y para los estudiantes extranjeros de educación superior universitaria y/o técnica, el costo es de S/15. Los estudiantes de educación superior universitaria y/o técnica, peruanos y de la Comunidad Andina, pagan S/10. Mientras que, para los menores de edad, los boletos cuestan S/2.
El boleto para ingreso al CAMK es gratuito y permite al usuario ingresar al Parador Turístico – Centro de Visitantes de Malcapampa (adyacente a la estación de llegada de Telecabinas), recorrer los senderos, ingresar a la réplica de la casa Chachapoyas y acceder hasta el frontis de la llaqta (fortaleza) de Kuélap. Las visitas son de martes a domingo, ya que los lunes están reservados para labores exclusivas de mantenimiento, preservación y protección del monumento.
SOBRE KUÉLAP
El Complejo Arqueológico Monumental Kuélap se ubica en el distrito de El Tingo, provincia de Luya, departamento de Amazonas, con una extensión de 136 hectáreas. Este complejo está inscrito en la Lista Indicativa del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO.
El CAMK alberga cinco monumentos arqueológicos conectados por caminos prehispánicos. El monumento principal es la llaqta (fortaleza) de Kuélap, construida alrededor del año 600 d. C. y abandonada en el siglo XVI. La llaqta de Kuélap es un testimonio del poder de los señores Chachapoyas y funcionó como un centro político, administrativo y religioso.
¿CÓMO LLEGAR?
Para llegar a Chachapoyas, se puede viajar en avión a través de Atsa Airlines, que ofrece vuelos los lunes, martes, jueves, sábado y domingo. Otra opción es viajar en bus, lo cual toma entre 22 y 24 horas.
Desde Chachapoyas hasta el distrito de Tingo, donde se ubica Kuélap y donde se toma el servicio de teleférico, el viaje en auto dura aproximadamente una hora. Llegar a la llaqta, desde el parador turístico requiere una caminata de 30 minutos aproximadamente. Se recomienda la contratación de un guía.
El servicio de teleférico es operado por una empresa privada y tiene un costo establecido. No opera de manera diaria, por lo que recomendamos verificar el calendario operativo de Telecabinas Kuélap.
