Así se dio a conocer durante una reunión del grupo de trabajo Fuerza de Tarea Ministerial, realizada hoy, con la participación de los titulares del ENFEN, Jorge Paz; Senamhi, Gabriela Rosas; Cenepred, Miguel Yamasaki; la Autoridad Nacional del Agua (ANA), Alonzo Zapata; el Indeci, Juan Carlos Urcariegui; el Instituto Geofísico del Perú, Hernando Tavera; y el director de Hidrografía y Navegación de la Marina de Guerra, Carlos Guerrero Malpartida. El equipo estuvo liderado por el ministro de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego, Ángel Manero, y el viceministro de Construcción y Saneamiento del MVCS, Jorge Bustamante.

Miguel Yamasaki resaltó que, si bien la época de bajas temperaturas se da en el otoño, aún persisten las condiciones cálidas. No obstante, ya se trabaja en un mapa de riesgos ante heladas y friaje, que es una actualización en la que se formulan escenarios de riesgo para los sectores vivienda, educación, así como agrícola y pecuario, entre otros, sostuvo.

La importancia de este mapeo, que culminará en los próximos días, explicó, radica en que permitirá luego trabajar en herramientas de mayor plazo, como el Plan Multisectorial 2024-2027 frente a este tipo de fenómenos.

En tanto, la titular del Senamhi, Gabriela Rosas, señaló que el segundo friaje del año está próximo, y que tendrá lugar entre el 11 y 12 de abril, con presencia importante de lluvias y vientos.

A su turno, Alonzo Zapata, de la ANA, se refirió al estado de los principales ríos y reservorios a nivel nacional. Tras brindar un alcance de la situación en las represas Gallito Ciego, Poechos, San Lorenzo y otros, se estimó que el país cuenta con reservas para el correcto abastecimiento de agua, mientras la labor continúa en aquellos puntos que presentan algún tipo de déficit.

Finalmente, se planteó la necesidad de estar prevenidos frente a posibles movimientos telúricos, seguidos de tsunami.

Al respecto, Hernando Tavera, del IGP, indicó la importancia de prepararse para un sismo de magnitud 9 en Lima. Carlos Guerrero, director de Hidrografía y Navegación de la Marina de Guerra, anunció que se ha iniciado el proceso para la adquisición de boyas DART, capaces de detectar la llegada de un tsunami con varios minutos de anticipación. “Es tecnología que salva vidas”, enfatizó.

El jefe del Indeci, Juan Carlos Urcariegui, manifestó que hasta el momento se tienen registradas 3 mil emergencias en distintos departamentos, como Ayacucho y Apurímac, las que han sido atendidas con maquinarias y ayuda humanitaria.
