El presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Gustavo Adrianzén, explicó que la medida fue adoptada tras el impacto de la disminución de la recaudación tributaria en los gobiernos locales y la afectación del Foncomun (Fondo de Compensación Municipal).

“Las expectativas que tenemos nos hacen creer que pronto tendremos una mejora y un impacto significativo en uno de los ejes de este Gobierno que es la reactivación económica”, indicó en conferencia de prensa el premier, quien estuvo acompañado por el titular del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas (MEF), José Arista Arbildo.

El jefe del Gabinete Ministerial también señaló que conforme se mida el impacto del uso de los recursos, se evaluará la posibilidad de incrementar los fondos. Además, invocó a las autoridades locales a realizar un gasto responsable que priorice el cierre de brechas.

Por su parte, el ministro de Economía añadió que los recursos contribuirán en la reactivación económica, y enfatizó que llegará de manera equitativa a todas las municipalidades del Perú.

“Aproximadamente el lunes estaremos publicando el decreto supremo que distribuye los 500 millones de soles, a fin de que el jueves los recursos estén disponibles en las cuentas de los municipios”, comentó.

INVOCAN EVITAR RUIDO POLÍTICO
El titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) declaró que los recientes reportes sobre el Perú de las calificadoras de riesgo recogen el impacto del ruido político que afecta la imagen país.

“Estos reportes no acusan una mala política económica ni fiscal. En tal sentido, invoco a las fuerzas políticas a actuar con responsabilidad y a subsanar las diferencias a través del diálogo”, acotó.

En esa línea, el premier Adrianzén remarcó que existen altas expectativas sobre las perspectivas económicas del Perú para el 2024, 2025 y 2026.

En tanto, el ministro Arista precisó que tanto Fitch Ratings como Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings coinciden en que la calificación crediticia del Perú puede mejorar con condiciones estables en el plano político, y el respaldo a políticas públicas que impulsen la inversión, la confianza empresarial y la actividad económica.

The head of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) declared that the recent reports on Peru from risk rating agencies reflect the impact of the political noise that affects the country’s image.

“These reports do not accuse bad economic or fiscal policy. In this sense, I call on the political forces to act responsibly and to correct differences through dialogue,” he said.

Along these lines, Premier Adrianzén highlighted that there are high expectations about Peru’s economic prospects for 2024, 2025 and 2026.

Meanwhile, Minister Arista specified that both Fitch Ratings and Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings agree that Peru’s credit rating can improve with stable conditions at the political level, and support for public policies that boost investment, business confidence and economic activity.
