Durante su viaje de trabajo a la región junto a los ministros de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego, Ángel Manero; Energía y Minas, Rómulo Mucho, y Producción, Sergio González, el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial destacó la trascendencia de ambas iniciativas.

“Majes Siguas II beneficiará a los agricultores y repotenciará su capacidad agroexportadora, mientras que Yanapujio garantizará el agua para el crecimiento de la agroindustria”, explicó el titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros.

En esa línea, el titular de Midagri invocó al consejo regional de Arequipa a aprobar el convenio que transfiere el proyecto Majes Siguas II al Gobierno nacional. Precisó que con Majes 1 y la presa intermedia, la inversión ascendería a 900 millones de dólares.

“Si a esto le sumamos Iruro y Yanapujio, estamos hablando de inversiones en temas de afianzamiento hídrico, represamiento, de 1300 millones de dólares en Arequipa, algo que nunca se ha visto en la historia”, manifestó.

Para el ministro Mucho el proyecto Majes Siguas II también tendría un impacto positivo en materia hidroenergética. “Si entra en funcionamiento este proyecto, tendríamos dos hidroeléctricas que generarían 600 megavatios, lo que consolidaría la capacidad de la energía en el Perú”, comentó.

El titular del Ministerio de Energía y Minas (Minem) añadió que para el 2024 se cuenta con dos proyectos hidráulicos y dos eólicos que añadirían 507 megavatios, con una inversión de 530 millones de dólares ya comprometidos.

MODERNIZACIÓN DE DESEMBARCADEROS PESQUEROS ARTESANALES
El ministro de la Producción reveló que desde su sector se impulsa la modernización de 6 desembarcaderos pesqueros artesanales, los cuales debido a su antigüedad no están adecuados a las normas sanitarias.

Señaló que para ello se llevará a cabo un plan integral que va del 2024 al 2026, con una inversión de 180 millones de soles para la realización de los estudios, los expedientes técnicos y la ejecución de las obras.

“Con estos recursos se busca que las infraestructuras estén acordes a las normas, que tengan zonas de tareas previas, zonas de comercialización, productores de hielo, cámaras de conservación. Es decir, todos los servicios básicos que debe tener un desembarcadero”, dijo el ministro, quien indicó que para el 2024 se ha proyectado concluir cuatro expedientes técnicos para iniciar las obras el 2025.

DIÁLOGO CON JÓVENES EMPRENDEDORES DE LA UNSA
El jefe del Gabinete Ministerial también visitó la Universidad Nacional de San Agustín (UNAS) de Arequipa, en donde inspeccionó la incubadora de empresas Jaku Emprende, que brinda asesoría especializada a emprendimientos de base científica y tecnológica.

Durante el recorrido, el premier Adrianzén pudo conocer las iniciativas de los estudiantes, los cuales buscan brindar soluciones a la ciudadanía a través de la tecnología. “El mundo demanda de ustedes, de su creatividad. Sigan creyendo y creando”, afirmó.

Al respecto, el ministro Gonzáles informó que el Ejecutivo ha dispuesto 140 millones de soles en concursos no reembolsables para los jóvenes emprendedores que presenten sus propuestas innovativas.

“La semana pasada hemos entregado los primeros 25 millones de soles del 2024 y beneficiaron a alrededor de 10 jóvenes emprendedores de Arequipa. Nuestro compromiso es hacer 7 convocatorias adicionales y apoyar financieramente las iniciativas innovadoras de la región, por aproximadamente de 27 millones de soles”, afirmó.

IMPULSO A PROYECTOS DE SALUD
El titular de la PCM y los ministros de Estado iniciaron la jornada con una reunión de trabajo con el gobernador Rohel Sánchez, con quien se acordó articular acciones para impulsar las intervenciones en el sector salud, como la mejora del estado del Hospital Goyeneche.

“Es de suma importancia que este emblemático hospital sea objeto de las reformas y mejoras que requiere, a fin de brindar los servicios de salud que requieren los ciudadanos de Arequipa”, declaró.

Asimismo, subrayó los esfuerzos para construir un nuevo hospital de neoplásicas en Arequipa, la cual se convertirá en un referente cuyos servicios atenderán a pacientes de las distintas regiones del sur de país.

DIALOGUE WITH YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS FROM UNSA
The head of the Ministerial Cabinet also visited the National University of San Agustín (UNAS) in Arequipa, where he inspected the Jaku Emprende business incubator, which provides specialized advice to scientific and technological-based ventures.

“It is of utmost importance that this emblematic hospital be subject to the reforms and improvements it requires, in order to provide the health services required by the citizens of Arequipa,” he declared.

Likewise, he highlighted the efforts to build a new neoplastic hospital in Arequipa, which will become a reference whose services will serve patients from the different regions of the south of the country.
