La autoridad peruana hizo este llamado en el marco de sus intervenciones en la 9° Reunión de Alto Nivel del Comité Directivo del Centro de Desarrollo de la OCDE, realizada en París, el 9 y 10 de diciembre, donde ratificó que el proceso de adhesión a la OCDE es una prioridad para el Perú.

En la sesión de lanzamiento del informe de la OCDE sobre “Perspectivas Económicas de América Latina 2024”, el titular de la PCM reseñó los esfuerzos del Perú para impulsar un reactivación rápida y sostenible, sobre la base de la estabilidad macroeconómica y fiscal, y en el marco de la vigencia del Estado de derecho, el orden constitucional y la democracia, proyectando un crecimiento cercano al 3.2 % para el 2024.

Señaló que la informalidad laboral es uno de los desafíos más complejos que enfrentamos en América Latina, y que también afecta al Perú, y destacó la utilidad de la Hoja de Ruta de Lima para Promover la Transición a la Economía Formal y Global, aprobada en la Semana de Líderes de APEC Perú 2024.

En el marco del diálogo sobre la nueva estrategia de desarrollo de la OCDE, el presidente Adrianzén resaltó la pertinencia de incluir como un elemento central una visión integral de la denominada “transición justa”. Debe contemplar dimensiones energéticas y socioeconómicas amplias, como equidad en el acceso a energía limpia, trabajo digno, respeto a los derechos de los pueblos indígenas.

AVANCES EN EL PROCESO DE ADHESIÓN
El presidente de la PCM sostuvo reuniones con la secretaria general Adjunta de la OCDE, Mary Beth Goodman, y su equipo legal, con quienes revisó el estado de situación del proceso de adhesión.

Se destacó entre los avances las treinta y cinco evaluaciones realizadas respecto del alineamiento de las políticas nacionales a los estándares y prácticas de políticas públicas de la OCDE en ámbitos como ambiente, gobernanza pública, gobernanza digital, tributación, política regulatoria, salud y desarrollo regional, entre otros.

Perú cierra el 2024 logrando concluir positivamente la evaluación del Comité de Salud y del Comité de Desarrollo Regional, así como, siete grupos de trabajo.

El titular de la PCM y los altos funcionarios de la OCDE acordaron estrechar el trabajo para la implementación de las recomendaciones de la organización, con miras a mejorar las políticas públicas, fortalecer la institucionalidad y modernizar los servicios del Estado acorde a los estándares de la OCDE, en beneficio de la ciudadanía.

Among the advances, the thirty-five evaluations carried out regarding the alignment of national policies with the OECD public policy standards and practices in areas such as the environment, public governance, digital governance, taxation, regulatory policy, health and regional development, were highlighted. inter alia.

Peru closes 2024 by successfully concluding the evaluation of the Health Committee and the Regional Development Committee, as well as seven working groups.
