Esta innovadora experiencia marca un hito en la historia de las Exposiciones Universales, al incorporar un metaverso con más de 150 países involucrados.
La versión digital del Pabellón Perú permitirá a los visitantes explorar muestras museográficas, textiles tradicionales, gastronomía, piezas arqueológicas e interactuar con usuarios de todo el mundo. Entre los elementos emblemáticos que podrán apreciarse se encuentran la máscara del Señor de Sicán, la esclavina de la cultura Paracas, cerámica Nasca, joyas del Señor de Sipán y un espacio dedicado a la Zona Arqueológica de Caral. Todos estos elementos han sido digitalizados mediante fotogrametría, técnica que permite generar modelos 3D de alta precisión a partir de fotografías.
Bajo el lema “Infinitas Posibilidades”, el pabellón virtual invita a los usuarios a descubrir las múltiples facetas del Perú: desde su milenario legado cultural y biodiversidad única, hasta su espíritu innovador y la calidez de su gente. La propuesta busca ser una ventana al pasado, presente y futuro del país.
El acceso al metaverso estará disponible a través de la aplicación “Virtual Expo”, compatible con smartphones (iOS y Android), computadoras (Windows y Mac), y dispositivos de realidad virtual como Meta Quest 2 y Meta Quest 3. Esta plataforma estará activa durante los seis meses de duración de la Expo, que culmina el 13 de octubre de 2025.
UNA EXPERIENCIA INMERSIVA DESDE CUALQUIER PARTE DEL MUNDO
Inspirado en la isla real de Yumeshima, el metaverso de la Expo 2025 recrea un archipiélago digital que evoca el espíritu japonés. Al ingresar, los visitantes podrán crear su avatar, ser recibidos por residentes digitales y embarcarse en una travesía interactiva que conecta a usuarios globales.
En este universo dinámico, los participantes podrán explorar, aprender y compartir sus visiones sobre el futuro de la sociedad, utilizando herramientas de interacción como mensajes de voz, chats, emojis, bailes virtuales y más.

La Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai es organizada por el Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) y se ha consolidado como el evento más importante de intercambio cultural, económico y diplomático a nivel global.
La participación del Perú en esta edición está liderada por el Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo (MINCETUR) y la Comisión de Promoción del Perú para la Exportación y el Turismo (PROMPERÚ).

This innovative experience marks a milestone in the history of Universal Expositions, incorporating a metaverse with more than 150 countries involved.
The digital version of the Peru Pavilion will allow visitors to explore museum displays, traditional textiles, gastronomy, and archaeological artifacts, and interact with users from around the world. Among the emblematic exhibits on display are the mask of the Lord of Sicán, the Paracas culture’s cape, Nasca pottery, jewelry from the Lord of Sipán, and a space dedicated to the Caral Archaeological Site. All of these exhibits have been digitized using photogrammetry, a technique that allows for the generation of high-precision 3D models from photographs.
