La jefa de Estado remarcó que su gestión está comprometida en transformar la vida de los peruanos, garantizando su derecho fundamental a una vivienda digna y segura, y reduciendo las brechas en infraestructura heredadas de gobiernos anteriores.

“Nuestro compromiso es claro y no se basa en meras palabras, sino que está respaldado por resultados concretos”, subrayó la mandataria, al mencionar que desde diciembre de 2022 hasta el 10 de junio de este año se garantizó que más de 400 000 peruanos accedan a viviendas dignas gracias a los programas Techo Propio y Crédito MiVivienda.

En ese sentido, afirmó que en abril pasado se dio un paso histórico con la aprobación del nuevo Reglamento de Viviendas de Interés Social, ampliando significativamente el área techada de estas construcciones e incorporando modelos innovadores y modernos que elevan la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos.

“Avanzamos con firmeza y sin retrocesos, porque el bienestar de todos los peruanos es el propósito que persigue nuestro Gobierno”, dijo.

Explicó que el Gobierno está decididamente enfocado en reducir las brechas históricas en infraestructura que heredaron de anteriores gobernantes, los que olvidaron su obligación de atender las necesidades del pueblo. “Hoy podemos decir con claridad y autoridad que somos el Gobierno que está haciendo realidad más colegios, más hospitales, más carreteras, más puentes, más obras de agua y alcantarillado, en mucho menor tiempo que aquellos que tuvieron períodos completos”, dijo, anotando que todo se hace sin corrupción.

La jefa de Estado recordó que el Perú, por su ubicación geográfica, es un país vulnerable a los sismos, por lo que su deber como autoridades no solo es brindar acceso a una vivienda digna sino también que sea segura y resistente.

“Por esa razón estamos implementando la nueva política de vivienda de interés social, porque este Gobierno no está dispuesto a repetir la ruta del olvido y la indiferencia que siguieron los anteriores gobernantes (…) Impulsamos la construcción de viviendas formales y seguras, porque los peruanos no pueden seguir viviendo en la vulnerabilidad. no más familias expuestas al peligro”, enfatizó.

La jefa de Estado recordó, en ese sentido, que el Gobierno ha inaugurado colegios antisísmicos y hospitales modernos y resistentes a los embates de la naturaleza, además de otras obras que benefician a miles de peruanos, que son la verdadera encuesta y por los cuales seguirán trabajando con firmeza.

She explained that the government is resolutely focused on reducing the historical gaps in infrastructure inherited from previous leaders, who forgot their obligation to meet the needs of the people. “Today we can say with clarity and authority that we are the government that is building more schools, more hospitals, more roads, more bridges, and more water and sewage projects in much less time than those who served full terms,” she said, noting that everything is being done without corruption.

The head of state emphasized that Peru, due to its geographical location, is vulnerable to earthquakes, so their duty as authorities is not only to provide access to decent housing but also to ensure that it is safe and resilient.

“For this reason, we are implementing the new social housing policy, because this government is not willing to repeat the path of neglect and indifference followed by previous leaders (…) We are promoting the construction of formal and safe housing, because Peruvians cannot continue to live in vulnerability. No more families exposed to danger,” she emphasized.

The head of state recalled, in this regard, that the government has inaugurated earthquake-resistant schools and modern hospitals resistant to the ravages of nature, in addition to other projects that benefit thousands of Peruvians, which are the true indicator and for which they will continue to work resolutely.
