Proyectos hospitalarios en Piura y Chimbote impulsados por EsSalud benefician a más de un millón 200 mil asegurados.

La ejecución de estos proyectos se realizará bajo la modalidad de Asociación Público Privada (APP) y tienen como objetivo mejorar la calidad de vida de la población asegurada de Piura, Tumbes y Ancash a través de una prestación oportuna, eficiente y de calidad, con servicios médicos especializados y orientados a la detección, tratamiento y recuperación de la salud del paciente y así reducir la morbilidad y mortalidad de dichas regiones.

Así lo informó hoy el presidente ejecutivo de EsSalud, Mario Carhuapoma, quien afirmó que en estos dos meses de gestión una de sus prioridades fue dar impulso a este importante proyecto, orientado a garantizar un servicio de calidad y oportuno a los millones asegurados de todo el país e ir cerrando la brecha de infraestructura existentes.

El titular del Seguro Social detalló que el hospital especializado perteneciente a la Red Asistencial Piura estará ubicado en el distrito Veintiséis de Octubre, provincia de Piura, y contará con 33 especialidades médicas, 324 camas de hospitalización, 14 camas UCI, 65 consultorios, 11 salas de operaciones y 9 salas de parto para beneficio de 866,969 asegurados con una inversión de 668,677.035 millones soles.

En el caso del hospital especializado de Chimbote perteneciente a la Red Asistencial de Ancash, estará ubicado en el distrito de Nuevo Chimbote en la provincia del Santa, departamento de Ancash y contará con un Policlínico de complejidad creciente.

Además, brindará 26 especialidades médicas y contará con 161 camas de hospitalización, 12 camas UCI, 37 consultorios, 7 salas de operaciones y 2 salas de partos en beneficio de 432,478 asegurados y con una inversión de 508,747.410 millones de soles.

A partir de su operación, el proyecto hospitalario de Piura brindará anualmente en promedio las siguientes atenciones: 301,358 consultas externas, 8,022 cirugías, 13,709 hospitalizaciones, 96,210 atenciones de emergencia, 3,350 partos de alto riesgo, 37,321 sesiones de hemodiálisis, 45,204 sesiones de odontología, 1’286,529 exámenes de laboratorio, 47,865 exámenes radiológicos (Rayos x), 36,163 exámenes de tomografía, 2,411 exámenes de resonancia y 4,365 intervenciones oftalmológicas.

Por su parte, el proyecto del hospital de Chimbote realizará anualmente en promedio las atenciones siguientes: 127,813 consultas externas, 16,776 cirugías, 8,659 hospitalizaciones, 31,803 atenciones de emergencia, 1,567 partos de alto riesgo, 30,812 sesiones de hemodiálisis, 12,781 sesiones de odontología, 829,821 exámenes de laboratorio, 32,935 exámenes radiológicos (rayos x), 10,619 exámenes de tomografía y 2,309 exámenes de resonancia.

En el policlínico Cono Sur, se brindará anualmente en promedio 15,879 consultas externas, 10,189 atenciones de emergencia, 42,343 sesiones de medicina física y rehabilitación, 11,584 exámenes radiológicos (rayos x), 5,296 exámenes de ecografía y 73,098 exámenes de laboratorio.

Las adjudicaciones de ambos proyectos hospitalarios están proyectadas para el segundo trimestre del 2022.
