Ministra de Cultura anunció desde Loreto las convocatorias de Estímulos Económicos de más de 32 millones de soles para la Cultura 2023.

Durante la actividad desarrollada en un ambiente de fiesta y cultura en el Complejo del Colegio Nacional de Iquitos, ante más de un centenar de trabajadores culturales y del arte, la ministra destacó las expresiones culturales que tiene Loreto, que fue elegida para ser la primera región en la que se lanza los Estímulos, ya que anteriormente se realizaba en Lima.

“Estoy muy contenta de estar en Iquitos y lanzar desde aquí, para todo el Perú, los Estímulos Económicos para la Cultura. Como sabemos la cultura es parte de nuestras vidas, de nuestras costumbres y es parte de la cadena productiva y económica de nuestro país”, dijo la ministra de Cultura.

Urteaga informó que, a partir del 2018, los Estímulos han permitido financiar no solo proyectos de cine, como era al inicio, sino los que tienen que ver con las artes escénicas, las artes visuales, el libro, la lectura. “Este es un claro ejemplo de esos proyectos, cambian vidas y transforman comunidades”, afirmó.

“Necesitamos sobre todo fortalecer nuestra identidad cultural, y cómo no desde el arte y la cultura, para luchar contra la discriminación étnico-racial que es un problema que tenemos en nuestro país”, enfatizó.

La ministra dijo que Loreto tiene un sinfín de costumbres y tradiciones que se pueden poner más en valor, por lo que invitó a los asistentes a participar de este concurso de Estímulos Económicos para la Cultura, hasta fines de junio, a través de la página web https://estimuloseconomicos.cultura.gob.pe/

Los Estímulos Económicos permiten financiar obras y proyectos culturales de autores, creadores, artistas, productores y gestores de las industrias culturales y las artes, para fomentar su desarrollo integral, sostenible e inclusivo.

DESCENTRALIZACIÓN DE RECURSOS
Para este año, el Ministerio de Cultura está poniendo énfasis en la descentralización del financiamiento y la priorización de proyectos nacidos en las regiones.

En el caso de los Estímulos Económicos para la actividad cinematográfica y audiovisual, son más de 9 millones de soles los que están destinados para financiar iniciativas de las regiones del interior del país. Para este sector, se tiene un monto asignado de S/28 215 000 y cuentan con 23 concursos.

Mientras que, para financiar proyectos vinculados al libro y al fomento de la lectura, se destinó un presupuesto de S/1 413 000 soles. En este sector, se prevé otorgar un mínimo de S/424 000 soles para proyectos de regiones fuera de Lima.

En el caso del sector de las artes escénicas, artes visuales y música, más del 60% del presupuesto asignado, está destinado para financiar proyectos de regiones fuera de Lima. Este sector tiene un presupuesto asignado de S/3 291 750. Asimismo, el 40% del monto de cada concurso de este sector, será reservado para beneficiarias mujeres.

Los trabajadores del arte y la cultura que estén interesados en postular, recibirán el acompañamiento técnico en las Direcciones Desconcentradas de Cultura, en todas las regiones del país.

La finalidad de los Estímulos Económicos es mejorar el bienestar de la ciudadanía a través de los impactos económicos, sociales y culturales de los proyectos financiados.

En esta actividad participaron, el gobernador regional de Loreto, René Chávez Silvano; el alcalde de la Municipalidad Provincial Maynas, Germán Vladimir Chong Ríos; la directora de la Dirección General de Industrias Culturales y Artes del Ministerio de Cultura, Diana Guerra Chirinos; autoridades locales, funcionarios de la Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Loreto, organizaciones culturales artistas y trabajadores del arte de la localidad.

“Above all, we need to strengthen our cultural identity, and of course through art and culture, to fight against ethnic-racial discrimination, which is a problem we have in our country,” he emphasized.

The Economic Incentives allow financing works and cultural projects of authors, creators, artists, producers and managers of the cultural industries and the arts, to promote their integral, sustainable and inclusive development.

DECENTRALIZATION OF RESOURCES
For this year, the Ministry of Culture is emphasizing the decentralization of financing and the prioritization of projects born in the regions.

In the case of Economic Incentives for cinematographic and audiovisual activity, there are more than 9 million soles that are destined to finance initiatives in the interior regions of the country. For this sector, there is an assigned amount of S/28,215,000 and they have 23 contests.
