El viernes 3 de noviembre a las 11 de la mañana en el almacén de REMAR ubicado en el Jr. Azángaro 235, Cercado de Lima, Cayo Darwin Bejarano Aguado, líder local de la Iglesia de Jesucristo en Lima, realizó la entrega formal de equipos (2 Refrigeradoras, 3 cocinas de 5 hornillas a gas con horno, 2 ollas arroceras de 10 kg) y menaje (50 ollas y 520 platos de melamine) de cocina, 32 camarotes y 64 colchones con resortes, 3 lavadoras de ropa de 19 kg y una silla de ruedas. Acompañaron la entrega Pedro Morote y el matrimonio Landon de los servicios de Bienestar de la Iglesia de Jesucristo.

La entrega de ayuda humanitaria de la Iglesia de Jesucristo a REMAR tiene el propósito de apoyar a la organización en proveer vivienda adecuada para los niños y jóvenes en 3 albergues de la ciudad de lima, uno ubicado en el dentro de la ciudad y dos en San Juan de Miraflores. Se estima que los usuarios beneficiados serán 255 personas entre jóvenes, niños y madres solas.

La Iglesia de Jesucristo ayuda a REMAR desde el 2011. Cuentan con una experiencia de más de 30 años ayudando a grupos vulnerables, dándoles albergue y proveyendo de programas que los ayuden a reinsertarse nuevamente en la sociedad.

La donación constituye un adelanto de la campaña navideña global “Ilumina el Mundo” con su lema: “Alguien necesita tu luz, deja que tu luz brille” que proporciona a los miembros de la Iglesia de Jesucristo la oportunidad de brindar servicio al prójimo.
