En la cristiandad esta fecha es conocida como la Fiesta de Epifanía que se realiza los 6 de enero de cada año.

El Pasacalle de Lima se unirá al mediodía con el Paseo de los Reyes Magos en la cuarta cuadra del jirón Junín, recorriendo los jirones Lampa y Huallaga, llegando hasta el Palacio Municipal, en la Plaza de Armas, donde será recibido por las autoridades municipales. Simultáneamente, el Coro Música para Crecer interpretará villancicos en el Pasaje Santa Rosa. Luego continuará por los jirones de la Unión e Ica, hasta llegar a la Plazuela Rosa Merino del Teatro Municipal.

El desfile contará con la participación de la policía montada de la PNP, acompañada de una banda de clarines y un escuadrón de jinetes con uniformes policiales históricos. Luego, el Elenco Nacional de Danzas de la Policía Nacional interpretará la Marinera Norteña. Asimismo, actores interpretarán a personajes de la época, interactuando con el público y entregando dulces a los niños. También elencos artísticos de la Dirección Antidrogas (Dirandro), Tránsito y Seguridad Ciudadana de la PNP presentarán shows lúdicos para toda la familia.

Desde 1988, la Policía Montada de la PNP – El Potao realiza la representación de roles del Paseo de los Reyes Magos, realizando la tradicional Visita de Reyes en el Nacimiento de la Municipalidad Metropolitana de Lima, así como otros lugares emblemáticos de nuestra ciudad. En esta oportunidad, el suboficial brigadier PNP Jorge Brenis Panta personificará a Baltazar, mientras el suboficial de segunda PNP Carlos Iriarte Ccanto representará Gaspar y el suboficial de tercera PNP Javier Becerra Torres personificará a Melchor.
