“Realmente ver replicado el modelo de los hospitales solidarios para hermanos nuestros en las zonas más altas de Lima, verlo replicado para las mascotas es un sueño que lo plasmamos en el plan de gobierno”, destacó el ingeniero Rafael López Aliaga.
Vetsol, además, continuará promoviendo el cuidado y tenencia responsable de mascotas, se brindarán charlas en colegios, instituciones y vecindarios. Asimismo, los dueños serán capacitados en el correcto cuidado de acuerdo a su raza y edad.
El vehículo se estacionará una semana por distrito en parques y clubes metropolitanos, avenidas y zonas con mayor afluencia de público, con el propósito de llegar a más familias y sus peludos engreídos, se espera atender un promedio de 500 mascotas por día.
El Dr. Luis Rubio, presidente del Sistema Metropolitano de la Solidaridad indicó que “lo que nos interesa es el control de enfermedades y el buen trato a las mascotas. Vamos a ir perfeccionando, esto es un programa único en el país que vamos a ir agregando, no sé si vamos a llegar hasta hotel y cementerio de mascotas”.
La atención inicia hoy mismo en el club metropolitano Wiracocha en San Juan de Lurigancho y la próxima semana estará en el parque Huáscar en Villa El Salvador. Desde las 8 a. m. hasta las 5 p.m. con un costo social mínimo desde los 5 soles. Para conocer los siguientes puntos a visitar deben estar atentos a las redes sociales de la Municipalidad de Lima.
