Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe Como parte del proceso de adhesión del Perú a la Organización para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo Económicos (OCDE), la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) inició una serie de reuniones técnicas con expertos del Comité de Políticas para el Desarrollo Regional del citado organismo internacional, quienes visitan nuestro país en misión de investigación para evaluar el desempeño nacional en dicha materia.

En la reunión de apertura, el viceministro de Gobernanza Territorial de la PCM, Juan Haro, expresó la disposición del Ejecutivo y los distintos niveles de gobierno para brindar la información necesaria y contribuir con los objetivos del comité.

En el primer encuentro también participaron la alta representante del Perú para el proceso de adhesión a la OCDE, Ana Rosa Valdivieso; las secretarias de Descentralización, Mabel Gálvez; y de Gestión Pública, Geraldine Mouchard; el secretario de Demarcación y Organización Territorial, Antonio Mendoza; y otros funcionarios de la PCM.

Durante su estadía en el Perú, el grupo de trabajo de la OCDE recopilará información sobre las políticas de desarrollo regional, a fin de profundizar en la comprensión de las estrategias y las políticas implementadas en los ámbitos urbano, rural y subnacional.

Para ello sostendrán hasta el 12 de julio 24 reuniones con más de 50 servidores públicos de entidades del Gobierno nacional, como los sectores de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, Transportes y Comunicaciones, Desarrollo e Inclusión Social, Desarrollo Agrario y Riego, Relaciones Exteriores, Economía y Finanzas, y PCM.

Asimismo, dialogarán con representantes de organismos adscritos como el Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática, el Organismo de Formalización de la Propiedad Informal, la Superintendencia Nacional de Bienes Estatales y el Centro Nacional de Planeamiento Estratégico.

Adicionalmente, se entrevistarán con los funcionarios del Gobierno Regional de Piura y la Municipalidad Distrital de Catacaos, así como con los representantes de las cámaras de comercio de Piura y Tacna.

Los resultados de la misión serán empleados en el Informe de Evaluación del Perú en el Comité de Políticas para el Desarrollo Regional de la OCDE.

PCM and the OECD Regional Development Policy Committee continue meetings in the process for Peru’s accession to this international organization.

Peruvian News Agency PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe As part of Peru’s accession process to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) began a series of technical meetings with experts from the Regional Development Policy Committee of the aforementioned international organization, who visit our country on a research mission to evaluate national performance in this matter.

At the opening meeting, the Vice Minister of Territorial Governance of the PCM, Juan Haro, expressed the willingness of the Executive and the different levels of government to provide the necessary information and contribute to the objectives of the committee.

The high representative of Peru for the OECD accession process, Ana Rosa Valdivieso, also participated in the first meeting; the secretaries of Decentralization, Mabel Gálvez; and Public Management, Geraldine Mouchard; the secretary of Demarcation and Territorial Organization, Antonio Mendoza; and other PCM officials.

During its stay in Peru, the OECD working group will collect information on regional development policies, in order to deepen the understanding of the strategies and policies implemented at urban, rural and subnational levels.

To do this, they will hold 24 meetings until July 12 with more than 50 public servants from national government entities, such as the sectors of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, Transportation and Communications, Development and Social Inclusion, Agrarian Development and Irrigation, Foreign Relations, Economy and Finance, and PCM.

Likewise, they will dialogue with representatives of attached organizations such as the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics, the Agency for the Formalization of Informal Property, the National Superintendence of State Assets and the National Center for Strategic Planning.

Additionally, they will meet with officials from the Regional Government of Piura and the District Municipality of Catacaos, as well as with representatives of the chambers of commerce of Piura and Tacna.

The results of the mission will be used in the Evaluation Report of Peru in the OECD Regional Development Policy Committee.
