El servicio Superexpreso Norte y la ruta alimentadora Torre Blanca amplían su recorrido hasta la estación 22 de agosto, en Comas, como parte de las mejoras que viene implementando el Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones (MTC), a través de la Autoridad de Transporte Urbano para Lima y Callao (ATU), en el tramo que comprende la ampliación norte del Metropolitano.

En ese sentido, entre las 6 a. m. y 8 a. m., de norte a sur, el servicio Superexpreso Norte partirá desde la estación 22 de agosto con paradas en las estaciones Universidad, Naranjal, Dos de mayo, Quilca, España y Central, lo que beneficiará a más de 2000 usuarios al día durante esas dos horas. Tendrá una frecuencia de 8 minutos, aproximadamente.

Es importante precisar que los buses del servicio Superexpreso Norte también partirán, de manera habitual, entre las 5 a. m. y 10 a. m., desde el terminal Naranjal hacia la estación Central (ver mapa). En el sentido contrario, por la tarde, no habrá variación en los recorridos.

En el caso de la ruta alimentadora Torre Blanca, que llegaba hasta la estación Los Incas, ahora continuará por las avenidas Túpac Amaru, Micaela Bastidas y Universitaria, hasta la estación 22 de agosto, lo que beneficiará a más de 4000 usuarios al día. En esta estación, los pasajeros podrán conectar su viaje hacia el sur con los servicios troncales regular B y el Expreso 11. Además, tendrá 19 paraderos adicionales (ver mapa).

En el sentido contrario, el recorrido será el mismo, pero actualmente la Municipalidad de Lima ejecuta obras viales en la avenida Túpac Amaru (sur a norte), por lo que la ruta alimentadora Torre Blanca desviará su recorrido, mientras duren los trabajos, por las avenidas Universitaria y San Felipe, hacia su paradero final, en Carabayllo.

El Metropolitano moviliza a más de 390 mil usuarios al día. Actualmente, tiene en funcionamiento 19 servicios troncales que se dividen en regulares, expresos y el Lechucero, además de 23 rutas alimentadoras (revisa aquí todos los servicios).

El costo de la tarifa integrada es de S/3.50 (troncal + alimentador) y S/3.20 si solo se utiliza la ruta troncal. Se respeta el cobro del medio pasaje para los escolares, universitarios y estudiantes de institutos reconocidos por el Ministerio de Educación.

De esta forma, la ATU reitera su compromiso de continuar implementado mejoras en los servicios de transporte que administra en beneficio de limeños y chalacos.

In the opposite direction, the route will be the same, but currently the Municipality of Lima is carrying out road works on Túpac Amaru Avenue (south to north), so the Torre Blanca feeder route will divert its route, while the works last, along the Universitaria and San Felipe avenues, towards their final whereabouts, in Carabayllo.
