Agencia Peruana de Noticias PRENSAPERU.PE https://prensaperu.pe/ Twitter: @prensaperupe El presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Gustavo Adrianzén, destacó la confianza que genera el Perú a nivel internacional, la cual ha motivado a Canadá, Israel, Japón, Países Bajos y Reino Unido a que expresen su interés en participar en la ejecución del proyecto de irrigación Majes Siguas, en el departamento de Arequipa, mediante un acuerdo de gobierno a gobierno.

“Cinco potencias mundiales están deseosas de invertir aquí en el Perú. Eso es confianza y el reflejo de un país que da estabilidad y reglas claras. El proyecto de Majes Siguas representa una gran inversión integral de cerca de tres mil millones de dólares”, indicó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial en conferencia de prensa luego de la sesión del Consejo de Ministros.

Al respecto, el ministro de Desarrollo Agrario y Riego, Ángel Manero, subrayó que los países que expresaron su interés en desarrollar el proyecto cuentan con un altísimo nivel en el desarrollo de infraestructura, lo que permitirá garantizar altos niveles de calidad y de ejecución en cuanto a plazos y presupuestos.

“Se trata de un proyecto integral de irrigación que comprende Majes Siguas I y la represa intermedia. Esta convocatoria internacional para hacer la obra gobierno a gobierno está avanzando y el 30 de abril se adjudicará a uno de estos cinco países”, añadió el ministro Manero.

MOVILIZARÁN MAQUINARIA A LA SIERRA SUR DEL PAÍS ANTE LLUVIAS
El premier Adrianzén informó que, ante la expectativa de lluvias intensas en la sierra sur del país, el Gobierno nacional ha dispuesto movilizar maquinaría y personal hacia allá a fin de adoptar medidas preventivas ante el impacto que puedan ocasionar las intensas precipitaciones.

“A esta tarea contribuirán el Ejército, a través de los batallones de ingeniería, el Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones, la Autoridad Nacional del Agua y el Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento”, agregó el titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM).

En esa línea, el ministro de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, Durich Whittembury, detalló que la maquinaría pesada se está concentrando tanto en Lima como en la sierra sur, a fin de responder inmediatamente ante cualquier emergencia. “Seguiremos trabajando en Apurímac, Cajamarca, Cusco, Huánuco y Puno”, acotó el titular del sector.

Adicionalmente, el ministro Whittembury comunicó que se han identificado 46 puntos críticos a lo largo de las cuencas de los ríos Rímac y Chillón, los cuales serán intervenidos con maquinarias y equipos técnicos de los sectores Desarrollo Agrario y Riego, a través de la Autoridad Nacional del Agua, y Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento, con el apoyo de Defensa, durante dos meses aproximadamente.

“Estas intervenciones se van a realizar con un pool de 161 maquinarias, de las cuales 33 son excavadoras hidráulicas, 14 tractores sobre orugas, 88 volquetes, 26 cargadores frontales y 2 plataformas y remolques, teniendo un nivel de inversión de aproximadamente 4 millones de soles. Esperamos intervenir a lo largo de 28.3 kilómetros a nivel de descolmatación a lo largo de ambos ríos”, manifestó el titular de Vivienda.

Por su parte, el premier Adrianzén señaló que el Plan Multisectorial ante Lluvias Intensas y Peligros Asociados 2025-2027, formulado a través de la Secretaría de Gestión del Riegos de Desastres, de la PCM, cuenta con la firma de la presidenta de la república Dina Boluarte y ministros de Estado, y está listo para su publicación. “Con este plan se busca tener las capacidades suficientes para enfrentar el fenómeno de las fuertes lluvias”, declaró el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial.

CONTROL VECTORIAL DEL DENGUE IMPLICA RESPONSABILIDAD CIUDADANA
El titular de la PCM llamó a la calma en relación a las enfermedades propias de la temporada de lluvias, como el dengue, pero además instó a la población a actuar con responsabilidad. “Nosotros, los ciudadanos, debemos aplicar las primeras medidas de prevención para evitar cualquier tipo de complicación en nuestra salud”, dijo el premier Adrianzén.

En ese sentido, el ministro de Salud, César Vásquez, invocó a la población a que permita a los inspectores que realizan control larvario ingresar a las casas, y apoyar de esa manera al control vectorial del mosquito que transmite el dengue.

“Hemos contratado más de 2200 inspectores para trabajar en las regiones donde hay más casos de dengue. Estamos trabajando como lo hicimos el año pasado, de la mano con los gobiernos regionales y con ellos estamos realizando el control vectorial que se hace básicamente dentro de la casa”, puntualizó.

Prime Minister Adrianzén reported that, in view of the expectation of heavy rains in the southern highlands of the country, the national Government has decided to mobilize machinery and personnel there in order to adopt preventive measures in the face of the impact that the heavy rainfall may cause.

“The Army will contribute to this task, through the engineering battalions, the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the National Water Authority and the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation,” added the head of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM).

Along these lines, the Minister of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, Durich Whittembury, detailed that heavy machinery is being concentrated both in Lima and in the southern highlands, in order to respond immediately to any emergency. “We will continue working in Apurímac, Cajamarca, Cusco, Huánuco and Puno,” added the head of the sector.

VECTOR CONTROL OF DENGUE IMPLIES CITIZEN RESPONSIBILITY
The head of the PCM called for calm regarding diseases typical of the rainy season, such as dengue, but also urged the population to act responsibly. “We, the citizens, must apply the first preventive measures to avoid any type of complication in our health,” said Premier Adrianzén.

In this regard, the Minister of Health, César Vásquez, called on the population to allow inspectors who carry out larval control to enter homes, and thus support the vector control of the mosquito that transmits dengue.

“We have hired more than 2,200 inspectors to work in the regions where there are more cases of dengue. We are working as we did last year, hand in hand with the regional governments and with them we are carrying out vector control that is basically done inside the home,” he said.
