“Este es un Gabinete de concertación y su principal característica será la coordinación y la convergencia con los gobiernos regionales y municipales, la sociedad civil y el Congreso de la República, con el evidente respeto de la independencia de poderes, y con una visión descentralista”, indicó el premier Arana.
En esa línea, el titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) anunció que la próxima semana iniciará una ronda de reuniones con representantes políticos, sociales y del sector empresarial, con el propósito de identificar objetivos comunes para lo que resta de la actual gestión gubernamental.
LOS GRANDES OBJETIVOS
“Vamos a enfocar nuestros esfuerzos en resolver los principales problemas del Perú en dos aspectos fundamentales: la seguridad ciudadana, que incluye la lucha contra la criminalidad y el crimen organizado, y el fortalecimiento de la economía para dejar un país en una situación estable”, manifestó el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial, quien subrayó que la meta es mejorar las condiciones de vida de la población, especialmente de la más vulnerable.
Muestras de esto son, según el Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática (INEI), el crecimiento del producto bruto interno (PBI) en 4.67 % en marzo y de la población laboral en 214 mil personas en el primer trimestre del 2025.
FRENTE UNIFICADO EN PATAZ
Con relación a la crisis de inseguridad que atraviesa la provincia liberteña de Pataz, el titular de la PCM señaló que una de las prioridades de su gestión será enfrentar con firmeza la criminalidad en esta parte del país, en coordinación con las instituciones del sistema de justicia. Para ello se han desplegado 1000 efectivos policiales y 500 miembros de las Fuerzas Armadas en la zona.
TRABAJO COORDINADO PERMITIÓ CAPTURA DE ‘CUCHILLO’
Uno de los principales resultados de la lucha contra la criminalidad es la captura de Miguel Rodríguez Díaz, alias ‘Cuchillo’, en la ciudad de Medellín, en Colombia. Tras la presentación de una carpeta fiscal ante el Poder Judicial por parte del Ministerio Público, se autorizó su detención preliminar con el objetivo de esclarecer las responsabilidades en el asesinato de 13 personas en la provincia de Pataz, indicó el premier Arana.

THE MAJOR OBJECTIVES
“We are going to focus our efforts on solving Peru’s main problems in two fundamental areas: citizen security, which includes the fight against crime and organized crime, and strengthening the economy to leave the country in a stable situation,” stated the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, who emphasized that the goal is to improve the living conditions of the population, especially the most vulnerable.
Evidence of this is, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), the growth of the gross domestic product (GDP) by 4.67% in March and the growth of the working population by 214,000 people in the first quarter of 2025.
UNIFIED FRONT IN PATAZ
Regarding the insecurity crisis affecting the La Libertad province of Pataz, the head of the PCM stated that one of the priorities of his administration will be to firmly confront crime in this part of the country, in coordination with the institutions of the justice system. To this end, 1,000 police officers and 500 members of the Armed Forces have been deployed in the area.
