Recientes reuniones entre el viceministro de Gobernanza Territorial y representantes de diversas federaciones indígenas (ACODECOSPAT, FEDIQUEP, FECONACO, OPIKAFPE, FECONACOR) han centrado la atención en tres puntos clave:

• Avance en proyectos de desarrollo: Se evaluó el progreso de los proyectos existentes, buscando soluciones conjuntas para superar cualquier obstáculo.
• Consulta previa: Se reafirmó el compromiso con la consulta previa a las comunidades, garantizando su participación activa en la toma de decisiones que les afectan.
• Remediación ambiental: Se abordó la remediación ambiental de los lotes petroleros 8 y 192, buscando soluciones efectivas para mitigar el impacto ambiental en la región.

Se acordó una próxima reunión en Iquitos con la participación de altos funcionarios de la PCM y de los ministerios de Vivienda, Energía y Minas, y Salud, para profundizar en estos temas. Previamente, el Ministerio de Vivienda informará a las comunidades sobre el estado de sus proyectos en la zona. Además, se trabajará en coordinación con el gobierno regional y los gobiernos locales para asegurar la transparencia y la difusión oportuna de la información sobre las intervenciones gubernamentales. En resumen, la PCM reitera su compromiso con un desarrollo inclusivo y sostenible en la región Loreto, basado en el diálogo continuo y la participación activa de las comunidades nativas.
