Agradeció al Congreso por haber otorgado la confianza al Gabinete que encabeza y reiteró que el país necesita unidad para hacer frente a los principales desafíos: “Con nuestras acciones demostraremos que somos un Gabinete del cambio, de la lucha contra la criminalidad, y que haremos nuestro máximo esfuerzo para trabajar bien y sin corrupción”, afirmó.

CUMBRE INTERNACIONAL DE SEGURIDAD
Tras la votación en el Congreso, en declaraciones a la prensa, el titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) anunció que la próxima semana Lima será sede de una cumbre internacional con ministros de Seguridad y Justicia de América Latina y Europa, con el objetivo de coordinar acciones conjuntas frente a la criminalidad organizada transnacional. “Esta es una problemática que debe ser resuelta en conjunto por todos los países”, subrayó.

En esa línea, remarcó que el Ejecutivo cuenta con un plan integral de seguridad ciudadana, centrado en el fortalecimiento de la inteligencia policial y en la adquisición de nuevos equipos. Agregó que la Policía Nacional ya ha dado pasos importantes en la lucha contra la delincuencia.

También destacó que el Modelo Pataz, orientado a combatir la minería ilegal, será un prototipo de intervención articulada para restablecer el orden y la paz en otros territorios: “La lucha contra este flagelo era dirigida de manera aislada. Ahora todos los sectores del Estado participan de forma concurrente”, explicó.

SUSTENTO ECONÓMICO PARA LAS REGIONES
El titular de la PCM indicó que su exposición ante el Pleno constituyó una hoja de ruta del trabajo que llevará adelante el Ejecutivo en coordinación con los gobiernos subnacionales, lo que incluirá una evaluación de los proyectos que podrían ser financiados mediante el crédito suplementario.

“Cada una de las promesas debe contar con respaldo económico y presupuestal que asegure su cumplimiento. Sabemos que existen brechas, necesidades y preocupaciones, y estamos llanos a escuchar y atender estas prioridades”, señaló el premier.

SOBERANÍA MARÍTIMA NO SERÁ AFECTADA
Finalmente, el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial aseguró que la soberanía del Perú sobre las 200 millas marítimas no se verá afectada por la reciente firma del Tratado de Altamar. “Este acuerdo regula actividades fuera del Mar de Grau. La jurisdicción del Perú no está en juego”, afirmó.

Along these lines, he emphasized that the Executive Branch has a comprehensive citizen security plan, focused on strengthening police intelligence and acquiring new equipment. He added that the National Police has already taken important steps in the fight against crime.

He also highlighted that the Pataz Model, aimed at combating illegal mining, will be a prototype for a coordinated intervention to restore order and peace in other territories: “The fight against this scourge was conducted in isolation. MARITIME SOVEREIGNTY WILL NOT BE AFFECTED
Finally, the head of the Cabinet assured that Peru’s sovereignty over the 200 nautical miles will not be affected by the recent signing of the High Seas Treaty. “This agreement regulates activities outside the Sea of ​​Grau. Peru’s jurisdiction is not at stake,” he stated.
