PERÚ Y GUYANA
El Canciller peruano Elmer Schialer sostuvo una importante reunión con el Representante Permanente de Guyana ante la Organización de Estados Americanos (OEA), Samuel A.A. Hinds. Este encuentro tuvo como objetivo principal fortalecer y profundizar los lazos bilaterales entre Perú y Guyana. Las conversaciones se centraron en tres ejes fundamentales:

FORTALECIMIENTO DEL DIÁLOGO POLÍTICO
Ambos representantes coincidieron en la necesidad de impulsar un intercambio político más dinámico y regular, con el fin de abordar temas de interés común en el ámbito regional e internacional. Se exploraron mecanismos para mejorar la comunicación y la coordinación en foros multilaterales.

Se revisaron los aspectos logísticos y estratégicos necesarios para la materialización de este proyecto.

PERÚ Y TRINIDAD Y TOBAGO
De otro lado el Canciller peruano Elmer Schialer realizó una fructífera reunión bilateral con el Secretario Parlamentario de Trinidad y Tobago, Wilfred Nicholas Morris, con el objetivo de fortalecer las relaciones entre ambos países en los ámbitos político, comercial y de cooperación. El encuentro sirvió para profundizar los lazos existentes y dar seguimiento a los compromisos asumidos en el marco de la relación bilateral y la cooperación con el Mercado Común del Caribe denominada “Comunidad del Caribe” (CARICOM).

LA REUNIÓN SE ENFOCÓ EN VARIOS PUNTOS CLAVE
1.- CONSOLIDACIÓN DE LOS VÍNCULOS POLÍTICOS
Se revisaron los mecanismos existentes para el intercambio político y se exploraron nuevas vías para fortalecer la cooperación en foros multilaterales, particularmente en el contexto de las relaciones entre Perú y el CARICOM.
