El ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, Elmer Schialer, completó la delegación del Ejecutivo que se acercó a la Nunciatura Apostólica, en el distrito de Jesús María y fue recibida por el nuncio apostólico en el Perú, monseñor Paolo Rocco Gualtieri.

El Gobierno nacional expresa sus más sentidas condolencias al pueblo católico y reafirma su profundo reconocimiento a la labor pastoral del Papa Francisco, cuyo mensaje de paz y fraternidad trascenderá generaciones y seguirá guiando a millones de personas en todo el mundo.
