La mandataria señaló que se trata de una medida necesaria, legítima y urgente para asegurar el control del territorio y garantizar la seguridad de los peruanos.

“Esta modificación no solo es coherente con el ordenamiento jurídico vigente, sino que respalda claramente la participación de las Fuerzas Armadas cuando la minería ilegal, el crimen y el terrorismo pretendan quitarnos la paz y la estabilidad de nuestra patria”, expresó la jefa de Estado.

La presidenta Boluarte remarcó que las Fuerzas Armadas tienen ahora el marco legal para combatir con toda la fuerza y legitimidad que exige esta lucha. “No daremos un paso atrás”, puntualizó.

La firma de esta ley, indicó, va acorde con la misión de proteger a los peruanos y está por encima de todo cálculo político. En ese sentido, subrayó que el Gobierno no permitirá que los vacíos normativos sean escudos para los criminales.

“Hoy afirmamos, con la fuerza de la ley y la determinación del pueblo, que no vamos a mirar el delito desde la orilla, atados por impedimentos legales diseñados por cómplices que prefieren defender los derechos humanos de los delincuentes y no de los peruanos de bien. No más tibieza”, enfatizó.

La mandataria saludó que esta iniciativa legal haya sido aprobada previamente por el Congreso de la República.

“Nuestra respuesta, en unidad con el Congreso, es clara: no daremos tregua, no cederemos un milímetro ante la delincuencia organizada”, añadió la jefa de Estado.

Posteriormente, la presidenta Boluarte recibió los últimos reportes de las acciones contra la delincuencia a cargo de las Fuerzas Armadas y la Policía Nacional.

El jefe del Comando Conjunto de las Fuerzas Armadas, general David Ojeda, indicó que realizaron 2694 patrullajes, empleando 4000 efectivos diarios. En tanto, el comandante general de la Policía Nacional, Víctor Zanabria, detalló que se desarticularon 143 bandas criminales que operaban en Lima y Callao, y se incautaron 140 armas de fuego, 47 explosivos y 39 vehículos, municiones y celulares.

La presidenta Boluarte remarcó que el país tiene una Policía Nacional y Fuerzas Armadas valientes que merecen todo el respaldo. “Ni el crimen ni sus cómplices disfrazados de legalistas defensores de derechos humanos podrán bajarnos la moral”, indicó al mencionar que los derechos humanos son de las peruanas y peruanos que salen todos los días a trabajar y a estudiar.

President Boluarte emphasized that the Armed Forces now have the legal framework to fight with all the force and legitimacy that this struggle demands. “We will not take a step back,” she emphasized.

The signing of this law, she indicated, is in line with the mission of protecting Peruvians and is above all political calculations. In that sense, she emphasized that the Government will not allow regulatory loopholes to become shields for criminals.

“Today we affirm, with the force of the law and the determination of the people, that we will not watch crime from the sidelines, bound by legal impediments designed by accomplices who prefer to defend the human rights of criminals and not those of good Peruvians. No more lukewarmness,” she emphasized.

The president welcomed the fact that this legal initiative had been previously approved by the Congress of the Republic.

“Our response, in unity with Congress, is clear: we will not give up, we will not give an inch to organized crime,” the head of state added.

Later, President Boluarte received the latest reports on the anti-crime actions carried out by the Armed Forces and the National Police.

The head of the Joint Command of the Armed Forces, General David Ojeda, indicated that they carried out 2,694 patrols, employing 4,000 personnel daily. Meanwhile, the Commander-in-Chief of the National Police, Víctor Zanabria, detailed that 143 criminal gangs operating in Lima and Callao were dismantled, and 140 firearms, 47 explosives, and 39 vehicles, ammunition, and cell phones were seized.

President Boluarte emphasized that the country has a brave National Police and Armed Forces that deserve our full support. “Neither crime nor its accomplices disguised as legalistic human rights defenders will be able to lower our morale,” she stated, mentioning that human rights belong to the Peruvians who go out to work and study every day.
