Esta medida tiene como objetivo avanzar hacia un Estado más eficiente que mejore la calidad de vida de todos los peruanos.

“Hoy estamos dando un paso histórico, un paso firme hacia la modernización del estado y la eficiencia del gasto público. La medida anunciada por nuestro gobierno, forma parte de un esfuerzo mayor para redimensionar el tamaño del Estado, elevar la productividad y mejorar la calidad de los servicios públicos que reciben todos los peruanos”, manifestó desde Palacio de Gobierno.

Los programas que pasarán al ANIN son los siguientes: Provias Nacional; Provias Descentralizado; Programa Nacional de Telecomunicaciones – Pronatel; Programa Nacional de Infraestructura Educativa – PRONIED; Programa Nacional de Inversiones en Salud – PRONIS; y Programa Nacional de Saneamiento Urbano.

Asimismo, Programa Nacional de Saneamiento Rural; Programa Agua Segura para Lima y Callao; Programa Subsectorial de Irrigación; Plan Copesco Nacional; Programa Nacional de Vivienda Rural; Programa Mejoramiento Integral de Barrios; Programa Nuestras Ciudades; y Plan Nacional de Diversificación Productiva.

“Hoy, damos un paso decisivo al transformar la ANIN en una unidad central de inversión pública. este nuevo organismo tendrá la responsabilidad de centralizar, planificar, coordinar y ejecutar de manera más eficiente las inversiones en seguridad ciudadana, hospitales, colegios, acceso a agua potable y saneamiento, carreteras, proyectos hidráulicos, infraestructura turística, portuaria, aeroportuaria, entre otros”, afirmó la jefa de Estado.

Explicó que, a través de esta nueva unidad, los ministerios podrán concentrarse plenamente en brindar mejores servicios en sus respectivas áreas de especialidad. Al mismo tiempo, dijo, las intervenciones con enfoque territorial tendrán un mayor impacto social, beneficiando directamente a las comunidades más necesitadas.

En ese marco, anunció que el decreto supremo que aprueba la creación de la unidad central de inversión pública será evaluado mañana en el Consejo de Ministros, reafirmando así el compromiso del Gobierno: mejorar la calidad de vida de todos los peruanos con acciones concretas y medibles.

“Esta decisión permitirá un ahorro de aproximadamente 2500 millones de soles entre junio y diciembre del 2025, y a partir de 2026, un ahorro sostenido de 4000 millones de soles anuales, recursos que serán invertidos en infraestructura de calidad al servicio de los ciudadanos”, subrayó.

En esa línea, manifestó que esta reestructuración del Estado es la mejor prueba de que, en nuestro gobierno, escuchamos las demandas del pueblo, a diferencia de gestiones anteriores que hicieron oídos sordos.

“Nunca más. Nuestro gobierno actúa. Esta transformación marcará un antes y un después en la historia del país y será el legado de la primera mujer presidenta del Perú. Nunca más la ineficiencia ni el despilfarro frenarán el desarrollo del país. Nunca más regiones relegadas. nunca más pueblos abandonados. Nunca más peruanos olvidados; el cambio empezó en nuestro gobierno y no se detendrá”, aseveró.

REPORTE ECONÓMICO
Momentos antes del anuncio, la mandataria presentó un informe sobre los avances económicos que ha registrado el país en lo que va de su gestión.

“Mientras América Latina cerró el 2024 con un crecimiento promedio de 2,4 % y varias economías importantes de la región vieron reducidas sus proyecciones, el Perú sobresalió: nuestra economía creció 3,3 %, una de las tasas más altas de la región. Este crecimiento se traduce en generación de empleo de calidad y en un aumento real de los ingresos para las familias peruanas”, destacó.

Seguidamente, apuntó que este buen manejo económico en Perú permitió que los precios de los productos básicos para el hogar sean menores en comparación con otros países de la región.

En abril, la inflación en nuestro país fue de solo 1,65 % en los últimos doce meses, manteniéndose dentro del rango meta y siendo la más baja de toda Latinoamérica.

“Este resultado es una buena noticia para la macroeconomía, pero sobre todo para las familias peruanas. Gracias a esta estabilidad, durante nuestro gobierno, productos esenciales de la canasta básica como la harina de trigo, el pan, el pollo, los huevos, la papa y el azúcar han mantenido precios estables, protegiendo así la capacidad adquisitiva de las familias, especialmente de las más vulnerables”, puntualizó.

Likewise, the National Rural Sanitation Program; the Safe Water Program for Lima and Callao; the Subsectoral Irrigation Program; the National Copesco Plan; the National Rural Housing Program; the Comprehensive Neighborhood Improvement Program; the Our Cities Program; and the National Productive Diversification Plan.

“Today, we take a decisive step by transforming ANIN into a central public investment unit. This new agency will be responsible for centralizing, planning, coordinating, and more efficiently executing investments in citizen security, hospitals, schools, access to drinking water and sanitation, roads, hydraulic projects, tourism infrastructure, ports, and airports, among others,” stated the Head of State.

She explained that, through this new unit, the ministries will be able to fully concentrate on providing better services in their respective areas of expertise. At the same time, she said, interventions with a territorial focus will have a greater social impact, directly benefiting the neediest communities.

In this context, he announced that the supreme decree approving the creation of the central public investment unit will be evaluated tomorrow by the Council of Ministers, thus reaffirming the government’s commitment to improving the quality of life of all Peruvians with concrete and measurable actions.

“This decision will allow for savings of approximately 2.5 billion soles between June and December 2025, and starting in 2026, sustained savings of 4 billion soles annually, resources that will be invested in quality infrastructure serving citizens,” she emphasized.

Along these lines, she stated that this restructuring of the State is the best proof that, in our government, we listen to the demands of the people, unlike previous administrations that turned a deaf ear.

“Never again. Our government acts. This transformation will mark a before and after in the history of the country and will be the legacy of Peru’s first female president. Never again will inefficiency and waste hinder the country’s development. Never again will regions be relegated, never again will towns be abandoned, never again will Peruvians be forgotten; change began under our government and will not stop,” she asserted.

ECONOMIC REPORT
Moments before the announcement, the president presented a report on the economic progress the country has made during her administration.

“While Latin America closed 2024 with an average growth of 2.4% and several important economies in the region saw their projections reduced, Peru stood out: our economy grew 3.3%, one of the highest rates in the region. This growth translates into quality job creation and a real increase in income for Peruvian families,” he emphasized.

He then noted that this sound economic management in Peru has allowed prices for basic household goods to be lower compared to other countries in the region.

In April, inflation in our country was only 1.65% over the last twelve months, remaining within the target range and the lowest in all of Latin America.

“This result is good news for the macroeconomy, but above all for Peruvian families. Thanks to this stability, during our administration, essential staple foods such as wheat flour, bread, chicken, eggs, potatoes, and sugar have maintained stable prices, thus protecting the purchasing power of families, especially the most vulnerable,” he stated.
