En ese marco, han sido revocados de manera automática 1425 inscripciones en el Registro Integral de Formalización Minera (Reinfo) en la provincia liberteña, lo cual impide que sirvan de camuflaje para actividades relacionadas a la extracción ilícita de oro.
Esta revocatoria masiva se dio al amparo del Decreto de Urgencia N° 006-2025, publicado en el diario oficial “El Peruano” que dispone la intervención coordinada en Pataz para el control y la fiscalización de insumos químicos, explosivos y materiales relacionados, equipos, maquinarias y productos mineros; y otras medidas excepcionales.
Por distritos, fueron revocados 144 Reinfos en Tayabamba, 585 en Parcoy y 696 en Pataz.
El presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Gustavo Adrianzén, subrayó la importancia de la revocatoria de estos registros, que se enmarca dentro de una estrategia de trabajo articulado e integral para retomar el control territorial y garantizar la seguridad de la población y las actividades económicas en esta provincia del departamento de la Libertad.
“El Gobierno nacional está emitiendo una serie de medidas y ejecutando acciones destinadas a poner orden en Pataz, proteger nuestros recursos naturales y devolver la tranquilidad a la población. El Estado se impondrá al crimen organizado ligado a la minería ilegal”, sostuvo el premier.
SEGUIMIENTO CON TECNOLOGÍA
El D.U. N°. 006-2025 también dispone la implementación de un sistema piloto de trazabilidad de la comercialización del oro, que estará a cargo del Ministerio de Energía y Minas (Minem), y un sistema de control y monitoreo inalámbrico (con GPS) para los vehículos de transporte de mercancías, que será responsabilidad de la Superintendencia de Transporte Terrestre de Personas, Carga y Mercancías (Sutran).
Con estos sistemas se obtendrán datos estadísticos y se identificarán desvíos de explosivos y otros insumos para la minería ilegal (cianuro, explosivos, maquinaria), y del producto aurífero. Toda esa información servirá para imponer sanciones.
PUESTOS DE CONTROL
Mientras continúan los operativos y patrullajes organizados desde el Comando Unificado de Pataz y protagonizados por efectivos de las Fuerzas Armadas, a través del Comando Operacional Norte, y de la Policía Nacional del Perú, se vienen implementando tres puestos de control en igual número de accesos a la zona aurífera de la provincia liberteña.
En ellos no solo estarán integrantes de las fuerzas del orden, también estarán presentes representantes y equipos del Minem, la Sutran, la Superintendencia Nacional de Aduanas y de Administración Tributaria (Sunat), el Ministerio Público, y la Superintendencia Nacional de Control de Servicios de Seguridad, Armas, Municiones y Explosivos de Uso Civil (Sucamec).
El decreto supremo también autoriza la transferencia de partidas hasta 52.6 millones de soles en el Presupuesto Público del Año Fiscal 2025, a fin de llevar a la práctica todas estas disposiciones y dotar de recursos a las entidades involucradas en el control y la fiscalización de la actividad minera. Se trata del mayor desembolso de la caja estatal hasta el momento para combatir a la minería ilegal en esta zona liberteña.

This massive revocation was carried out under Emergency Decree No. 006-2025, published in the official newspaper “El Peruano,” which mandates a coordinated intervention in Pataz for the control and inspection of chemical inputs, explosives and related materials, equipment, machinery, and mining products; and other exceptional measures.
By district, 144 Reinfos were revoked in Tayabamba, 585 in Parcoy, and 696 in Pataz.
The President of the Council of Ministers, Gustavo Adrianzén, emphasized the importance of revoking these registrations, which is part of a coordinated and comprehensive strategy to regain territorial control and guarantee the safety of the population and economic activities in this province of the department of La Libertad.

MONITORING WITH TECHNOLOGY
Decree No. 006-2025 also provides for the implementation of a pilot traceability system for gold marketing, which will be managed by the Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem), and a wireless control and monitoring system (with GPS) for freight transport vehicles, which will be the responsibility of the Superintendency of Land Transportation of Persons, Cargo, and Merchandise (Sutran).
These systems will generate statistical data and identify diversions of explosives and other inputs for illegal mining (cyanide, explosives, machinery), as well as gold products. All this information will be used to impose sanctions.
CHECKPOINTS
While operations and patrols organized by the Pataz Unified Command and carried out by members of the Armed Forces, the Northern Operational Command, and the Peruvian National Police continue, three checkpoints are being implemented at the same number of access points to the gold-mining area in the province of La Libertad.
Not only will law enforcement personnel be present, but also representatives and teams from the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of National Defense (SUTRAN), the National Superintendency of Customs and Tax Administration (SUNAT), the Public Prosecutor’s Office, and the National Superintendency for the Control of Security Services, Weapons, Ammunition, and Explosives for Civil Use (SUCAMEC).
The supreme decree also authorizes the transfer of up to 52.6 million soles from the Public Budget for Fiscal Year 2025 to implement all these provisions and provide resources to the entities involved in the control and oversight of mining activities. This is the largest disbursement from the state treasury to date to combat illegal mining in this area of La Libertad.
