Durante la ceremonia, realizada en Palacio de Gobierno, los nuevos integrantes del Gabinete Ministerial juraron desempeñar sus funciones sin caer en actos de corrupción.
Pérez Reyes es economista por la Universidad de Lima, con doctorado en Economía por la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria y maestría en Economía por el Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas de México.
Previamente, lideró el Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones.
Por su parte, Malaver Odias es oficial general de la Policía Nacional en situación de retiro, licenciado en Administración y egresado de la Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal.
Además, cuenta con estudios de maestría en Ciencia Política y Gobierno por la Pontifica Universidad Católica del Perú.
En tanto, el nuevo titular del MTC, César Sandoval, se desempeñaba como asesor del Gabinete Técnico de la Presidencia de la República y antes fue jefe del Gabinete de Asesores del Ministerio de Energía y Minas.
