“Los efectivos de la Marina de Guerra, el Ejército y la Fuerza Aérea han sido distribuidos a lo largo de toda la capital, donde realizan un servicio patriótico”, manifestó el jefe del gabinete ministerial en conferencia de prensa tras la sesión de Consejo de Ministros.
En esa línea, el premier Adrianzén señaló que en la actualidad el combate al crimen organizado, al cual el Ejecutivo ha denominado terrorismo urbano, tiene las mismas dimensiones que el enfrentamiento contra los delincuentes terroristas de la década de los ochenta, dado que emplean el terror para generar alarma en la población.
Por su parte, el ministro de Defensa, Walter Astudillo, precisó que la declaratoria de estado de emergencia es un importante instrumento que permite a las Fuerzas Armadas realizar patrullaje de reconocimiento, lo que a su vez contribuye a generar espacios seguros en los que la población pueda transitar libremente.
GARANTIZA ATENCIÓN A PLIEGO INTERPELATORIO
El titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) reafirmó su absoluto respeto a las iniciativas parlamentarias y aseguró que acudirá a responder un posible pliego interpelatorio si el Congreso de la República se lo requiere.
“Tengo una política de puertas abiertas y hemos recibido a todos los congresistas, incluido el parlamentario que ha impulsado la interpelación. Me sorprende que sin siquiera un diálogo previo me convoquen a este proceso, pero no importa, yo estaré allí”, declaró el premier Adrianzén.
PROMUEVEN ALIANZA CON EL SECTOR PRIVADO PARA COMBATIR LA INSEGURIDAD
El jefe de gabinete destacó que en el evento Obras por impuestos – Alianza por la seguridad, realizado esta semana en Palacio de Gobierno, se presentó ante el sector privado 62 proyectos de inversión, valorizados en 2695 millones de soles para ejecutar los proyectos priorizados por los ministerios de Interior y Justicia y Derechos Humanos, el Instituto Nacional Penitenciario, la Superintendencia Nacional de los Registros Públicos, la Superintendencia Nacional de Aduanas y de Administración Tributaria y los gobiernos regionales y locales.
“Casi todo el Perú va a recibir estas inversiones de obras por impuestos, mecanismo que permitirá realizar intervenciones, básicamente de infraestructura, de una manera sumamente ágil”, manifestó el premier.
Adicionalmente, el titular de la PCM resaltó el llamado a la unidad que nació del Poder Ejecutivo y que las distintas autoridades del Estado que participaron en la primera sesión ordinaria del Consejo Nacional de Seguridad Ciudadana (Conasec) del 2025 lo hicieron suyo.
CONTINUARÁ DEBATE POR LA PENA DE MUERTE
El jefe de gabinete ministerial informó que a la fecha se han realizado, a nivel nacional, 18 mesas de debate con la finalidad de tener una percepción de la voluntad ciudadana sobre la pena de muerte, luego de que hace algunas semanas la pusiera en discusión el tema frente a crímenes atroces.
“Estas mesas de diálogo van a continuar y el resultado de estas contribuirá a determinar si desde el Gobierno nacional se trabaja en una propuesta sobre la pena de muerte”, manifestó el titular de la PCM, quien aseguró que se tiene conciencia de las implicancias de ampliar la pena capital, la cual es reconocida en el Perú para los casos de traición a la patria en coyunturas de guerra exterior o terrorismo.
ANUNCIAN PROGRAMA CREDITICIO PARA ACUICULTORES
El ministro de la Producción, Sergio González, anunció un programa crediticio para los acuicultores que debido a las lluvias han perdido su capacidad productiva. “Este programa tiene condiciones especiales como cero por ciento de intereses, 10 meses de periodo de gracia y pago en tres años. Pueden ser créditos de 20 mil, 40 mil, 60 mil u 80 mil soles. No se entrega el dinero, sino el alimento balanceado o la infraestructura para las piscigranjas”, comentó.
En otro momento, el ministro González destacó el crecimiento del producto bruto interno (PBI) en enero último, el cual se incrementó en 4.1 % en comparación al mismo mes del 2024, según cifras del Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática. Asimismo, explicó que los sectores que más crecieron fueron pesca (23.5 %), manufactura (5.5 %), transportes (4 %) y comercio interno (3 %).
PROGRAMA DE ALIMENTACIÓN WASI MIKUNA CAMBIARÁ MODELO DE COMPRA
La ministra de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social, Leslie Urteaga, informó que en el 2025 se cambiará el modelo de compra de alimentos del Programa Nacional de Alimentación Escolar Comunitaria Wasi Mikuna, para lo cual se priorizará el fortalecimiento de la subvención económica de los padres y madres de familia.
La ministra Urteaga explicó que esta decisión se aplica actualmente a través de un piloto en las regiones de Ayacucho, Cusco y Piura, e incluye el asesoramiento a los padres de familia con nutricionistas y equipos de expertos del Programa Mundial de Alimentos y del Ministerio de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social (Midis).
“Este modelo de compra de productos y raciones significa que vamos a dejar de comprar a proveedores de manera directa y que vamos a incluir nuevas modalidades para el próximo año. Eso quiere decir que en este 2025 el modelo de compra será totalmente distinto, priorizando la salud y la alimentación de la niñez peruana”, expresó la titular del Midis.
PRÓRROGA DEL ESTADO DE EMERGENCIA
El Ejecutivo acordó prorrogar por 60 días calendario, a partir del 27 de este mes, el estado de emergencia declarado en los distritos de Tambopata, Inambari, Las Piedras y Laberinto, de la provincia de Tambopata, y en los distritos de Madre de Dios y Huepetuhe, de la provincia de Manu, en la región Madre de Dios.
La medida considera que el control del orden interno esté a cargo de la Policía Nacional del Perú, con acciones de apoyo de las Fuerzas Armadas. De esta manera se busca garantizar la continuidad del despliegue de las operaciones policiales para combatir y neutralizar la minería ilegal y la tala ilegal, así como sus delitos conexos, como el tráfico ilícito de drogas y la trata de personas, entre otros, perpetrados por delincuencia común y crimen organizado.

“I have an open-door policy, and we have received all the congressmen, including the parliamentarian who initiated the interpellation. I am surprised that they would call me to this process without even prior dialogue, but it doesn’t matter, I will be there,” declared Prime Minister Adrianzén.
THEY PROMOTE A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE PRIVATE SECTOR TO COMBAT INSECURITY
The Chief of Staff highlighted that at the Works for Taxes – Alliance for Security event, held this week at the Government Palace, 62 investment projects were presented to the private sector, valued at 2.695 billion soles, to execute projects prioritized by the Ministries of the Interior and Justice and Human Rights, the National Penitentiary Institute, the National Superintendency of Public Registries, the National Superintendency of Customs and Tax Administration, and regional and local governments.
“Almost all of Peru will receive these Works for Taxes investments, a mechanism that will allow for extremely agile interventions, primarily in infrastructure,” the Prime Minister stated.
Additionally, the head of the PCM emphasized the call for unity that emerged from the Executive Branch and that the various state authorities who participated in the first regular session of the National Citizen Security Council (CONASC) in 2025 endorsed it.
DEBATE ON THE DEATH PENALTY WILL CONTINUE
The head of the ministerial cabinet reported that to date, 18 roundtable discussions have been held nationwide to gain a sense of public opinion regarding the death penalty, after the issue was first brought up for discussion a few weeks ago in the context of atrocious crimes.
“These roundtable discussions will continue, and their outcome will help determine whether the national government will work on a proposal regarding the death penalty,” stated the head of the PCM, who asserted that they are aware of the implications of expanding the death penalty, which is recognized in Peru for cases of treason in times of foreign war or terrorism.
CREDIT PROGRAM FOR AQUACULTURE FARMERS ANNOUNCED
The Minister of Production, Sergio González, announced a credit program for aquaculture farmers who have lost their productive capacity due to the rains. “This program has special conditions such as zero percent interest, a 10-month grace period, and repayment over three years. Loans can be for 20,000, 40,000, 60,000, or 80,000 soles. The loan is not provided directly, but rather feed or infrastructure for the fish farms,” he commented.
On another occasion, Minister González highlighted the growth of the gross domestic product (GDP) last January, which increased by 4.1% compared to the same month in 2024, according to figures from the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics. He also explained that the sectors that grew the most were fishing (23.5%), manufacturing (5.5%), transportation (4%), and domestic trade (3%).
WASI MIKUNA FOOD PROGRAM WILL CHANGE PURCHASE MODEL
The Minister of Development and Social Inclusion, Leslie Urteaga, announced that the food purchasing model for the Wasi Mikuna National Community School Feeding Program will be changed in 2025, prioritizing strengthening the financial subsidy for parents.
Minister Urteaga explained that this decision is currently being implemented through a pilot program in the regions of Ayacucho, Cusco, and Piura, and includes counseling for parents from nutritionists and teams of experts from the World Food Program and the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (MIDIS).
“This purchasing model for products and rations means that we will stop purchasing directly from suppliers and will introduce new methods for next year. This means that in 2025, the purchasing model will be completely different, prioritizing the health and nutrition of Peruvian children,” said the head of MIDIS.
EXTENSION OF THE STATE OF EMERGENCY
The Executive Branch agreed to extend for 60 calendar days, starting on the 27th of this month, the state of emergency declared in the districts of Tambopata, Inambari, Las Piedras, and Laberinto, in the province of Tambopata, and in the districts of Madre de Dios and Huepetuhe, in the province of Manu, in the Madre de Dios region.
The measure establishes that internal order control will be the responsibility of the Peruvian National Police, with support from the Armed Forces. This seeks to ensure the continued deployment of police operations to combat and neutralize illegal mining and logging, as well as related crimes, such as drug trafficking and human trafficking, among others, perpetrated by common and organized crime.
