La acción fue liderada por el viceministro de Derechos Humanos y Acceso a la Justicia, Charles Napurí, quien, por encargo del ministro Eduardo Arana, supervisó la inspección a celdas e internas de este recinto.
“Este operativo se da como parte de las medidas que se están tomando desde el Cuarto de Guerra contra la inseguridad ciudadana. Estamos limitando el mal accionar de aquellas internas que tienen sustancias u objetivos prohibidos y hacemos respetar -a la vez- el principio de autoridad”, dijo.
Napurí estuvo acompañado de Javier Llaque, presidente del Instituto Nacional Penitenciario, quien aseguró que se están tomando medidas contundentes para evitar actos indebidos al interior de los penales.
A la fecha, en el marco del Estado de Emergencia en Lima y Callao, ya se han realizado operativos inopinados diversos penales, reduciendo así la posibilidad de que en ellos se infrinja la ley.

The operation was led by the Deputy Minister of Human Rights and Access to Justice, Charles Napurí, who, at the request of Minister Eduardo Arana, supervised the inspection of cells and inmates at this facility.
“This operation is part of the measures being taken by the War Room to combat citizen insecurity. We are limiting the misconduct of inmates who possess prohibited substances or objects, while also enforcing the principle of authority,” he said.
