En el encuentro, que se realiza tras el anuncio de estado de emergencia en San Juan Lurigancho, San Martín de Porres y Sullana, el jefe del Gabinete Ministerial reafirmó el compromiso del Gobierno para combatir el crimen organizado y la alta incidencia de robos, extorsión y secuestros.
“Tengan la plena seguridad de que la decisión de la presidenta Dina Boluarte es encarar inmediatamente el problema de inseguridad ciudadana a través de acciones concretas. Para ello vamos a tener reuniones con los demás alcaldes, a fin de definir acciones contundentes” dijo el premier, quien precisó que se estudiará la situación de cada distrito.
En otro momento, Otárola Peñaranda explicó que las Fuerzas Armadas cumplirán con un trabajo de apoyo a la Policía Nacional, la cual incrementará el número de efectivos y fortalecerá la logística de nueve comisarías.
“Además, vamos a estudiar las pequeñas y las medianas obras en los espacios comunes, que el alcalde Maldonado ha programado, para integrar a los jóvenes y desarrollar una propuesta de prevención de la municipalidad, lo que también ocurrirá con los distritos de San Martín de Porres y Sullana” señaló.
Por su lado, el burgomaestre de San Juan de Lurigancho destacó la predisposición del titular de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros, Alberto Otárola, y del ministro del Interior, Vicente Romero, por promover un trabajo en conjunto con la municipalidad que dirige. “Ha sido una reunión bastante positiva y va en la dirección de lo que estamos buscando que es la seguridad de los vecinos” acotó.
