Así lo anunció la titular del sector, Hania Pérez de Cuéllar, durante una visita de trabajo en Puno, donde sostuvo una reunión con el alcalde provincial, Javier Ponce, y regidores de esta comuna.

La ministra Pérez de Cuéllar resaltó que el proyecto estuvo paralizado por varios años y que ha sido destrabado en su gestión, gracias al trabajo articulado con el municipio distrital.

“Como prometimos, el día de ayer se entregó la buena pro al proyecto de agua y saneamiento de Coata. Si todo sale bien y no se presenta ninguna apelación, en dos semanas, como máximo, se podrá adjudicar el proyecto a la empresa ganadora”, informó.

El proyecto, a cargo del Programa Nacional de Saneamiento Rural (PNSR) del MVCS, beneficiará a los centros poblados de Carata, Llachahui, Queatta, Pojsin, Putucuni, Candile Chinche, Lluco MD y Coatasi. La obra contempla la construcción de una planta de tratamiento de agua potable (PTAP), cisternas de bombeo, reservorios y unidades básicas de saneamiento (UBS).

PTAR TITICACA
De otro lado, la responsable de la cartera de Vivienda garantizó la continuidad del proyecto de construcción de la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales en la cuenca del lago Titicaca -PTAR Titicaca y anunció que se convocará a un nuevo proceso para culminar la ansiada obra de manera integral.

Informó que el MVCS decidió resolver el contrato con la Operadora Ecológica del Titicaca S.A.C. (OPETI), concesionaria del proyecto, por incumplimiento contractual de la empresa y en aras de defender los intereses del Estado y de todos los hermanos puneños de tener un servicio de calidad y proteger el lago Titicaca.

Señaló también que el MVCS transfirió S/ 9 millones a la Empresa Municipal de Saneamiento Básico de Puno – EMSAPUNO S.A., para que realice trabajos de mantenimiento de los lodos en el lago Titicaca y de esta manera se optimice el servicio.

“Va a haber una nueva convocatoria de todo el proyecto integral, (que incluye) no solamente a Puno, sino también a otras provincias, (para que) se pueda ejecutar de manera articulada”, precisó.

La PTAR Titicaca es un megaproyecto impulsado por el Gobierno para beneficio de más de un millón de habitantes de las provincias de Puno: Juliaca, Puno, Ilave, Ayaviri, Juli, Moho, Azángaro, Huancané, Lampa y Yunguyo.

Respecto al proyecto convenio 25 de saneamiento básico en Puno, dijo que se están haciendo ajustes y actualización al expediente técnico, tras lo cual se evaluará el mejor mecanismo para concretar su ejecución. Anotó que la propuesta de obra fue destrabada en su gestión y tiene un costo de inversión aproximado de S/ 1,100 millones.

MESA TÉCNICA
Posteriormente, la titular del MVCS se dirigió al auditorio de la Dirección Regional de Agricultura de Puno, donde junto al gobernador regional, Richard Hancco Soncco y con la presencia de alcaldes provinciales y distritales, instaló la quinta mesa de trabajo regional donde personal de su sector brinda asistencia técnica para el destrabe y aceleración de proyectos de agua, saneamiento, vivienda y mejoramiento urbano.

La ministra Pérez de Cuéllar remarcó que el Gobierno y su sector trabajan arduamente para cerrar las brechas sociales y pidió a las autoridades de Puno trabajar juntos a fin de saldar la deuda histórica que el Estado tiene con esta región altiplánica.

“Estamos trabajando y seguiremos trabajando con el rigor técnico (…) Gobernador, alcaldes, yo les pido que trabajemos juntos con esa idea de poner a los ciudadanos, a nuestros hermanos de Puno, los más vulnerables, en nuestra mente y en nuestro corazón para trabajar por ellos”, enfatizó.

DATOS Y RESULTADOS
1.- Como resultado de las cuatro mesas de destrabes realizadas en Puno, Lima, El Collao y Desaguadero, el MVCS ha atendido 133 proyectos de 43 municipalidades de Puno.

2.- También transfirió S/ 18.7 millones a las municipalidades provinciales de Puno y Azángaro, así como a los distritos de Caracoto, Crucero, Coyocuyo, Huatasani y San José para obras de saneamiento urbano y rural que beneficiarán a 5,591 habitantes.
